CampVents – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how AMBIQUE LTD ("CampVents", "we", "us", "our"), a private limited company incorporated in England & Wales (company no. 16420205) with its registered office at 44 Broadway, London, E15 1XH, United Kingdom, collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

By using the CampVents mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms & Conditions.

AMBIQUE LTD acts as Data Controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – "GDPR") and the UK GDPR.

• Mandatory account data (email, name, university).
• Security‑log data (IP address, device type, timestamp, location approximation).
• Transaction data (Stripe customer ID, last four digits of card, tokenised payment reference – we never store full card numbers).

• Account provision & contract performance – Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR.
• Legitimate interest in securing the Platform – Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
• Legal compliance (tax and accounting) – Art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR.

We retain Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above and to comply with legal obligations (typically 6 years for transactional records under UK tax law).

You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to processing. Exercise your rights by emailing info@campvents.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g. the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or the UK ICO).

Where data is transferred outside the UK/EU, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

The mobile app uses local storage and similar technologies for session management; no advertising cookies are employed.
